Daddy Longlegs Cupcakes

Your favorite cupcake recipe

Chocolate icing

Chocolate sprinkles

Gumdrops

Black string licorice 

Prepare cupcakes according to directions. Make sure to use cupcake papers. Frost each cupcake with icing and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Press 2 gumdrops into cupcake for eyes. Use a toothpick to apply a small amount of icing onto each gumdrop for the center of the eye. Cut string licorice into eight 4-inch pieces for each cupcake. Hold all 8 legs together and bend in half and crease. Push on end of each licorice piece into the cupcake (4 on each side) for the legs. You could even have the kids finish their cupcakes by attaching their own legs.
